At WiscNet Connections in May 2024, Sarah Miller helped WiscNet members gather ideas to shape the first year of the WiscNet Secure Platform. You stepped up to volunteer a bit of your time, talent, and treasure between now and the end of this calendar year.

• Online Knowledge Sharing Platform: Exchange ideas, resources, and best practices from fellow members.

• Incident Recaps and Planning: Regular updates, recaps, and response planning for preparedness.

• WiscNet Member Directory: Connect with experts and collaborators through a comprehensive directory.

• Enhanced Communication Methods: Stay informed and engaged through various communication channels.

• Security Awareness and Leadership: Hiring a CISO to foster a culture of security awareness.

• Leveraging Student Talent: Engage students in SOC oversight for fresh ideas and talent.

• Inter-Organizational Collaboration: Collaborate with similar organizations on common goals.

We have chosen 4 dates and locations for our upcoming fall series of in-person gatherings. A more detailed schedule will be released in the coming weeks. The initial events will focus on building a strong community and we are eager for you to share your experiences in engaging with exceptional online communities.
