One of our most popular sessions at WiscNet Connections every year is what we used to call our “WiscNet Network Update,” and now call a WiscNet Platform update as the work of this team has evolved over the years.

Two of our amazing Platform Engineers, Josh Gorton and Eric Hammons, will present this first-ever online WiscNet Platform Update, on Thursday, December 7th on Zoom at 10:00am.

Josh and Eric will provide status updates on the state of WiscNet Platform, including optical transport and Layer 3 hardware deployments, the path to a 2x100Gbps core, BGP peering and transit updates, network edge ACLs, RPKI ROA signing, and more.
